Unbrush is a great example of what makes us different and what we are capable of from a brand creation and brand partner standpoint.
We created this brand completely from scratch. The original product was only intended as a small contribution to the client’s larger portfolio, but we had ideas that we felt had potential to be something big on its own.

THE NAME/CONCEPT
We were looking to create something that made you stop and pay attention. Something that declared we were special and different and better.
THE LOOK
We wanted fun and youthful but also high quality and innovative. Color palette and finish were keys to achieving this, along with a logo design and font selection.
PACKAGING
Contemporary and clean, emphasizing color and an elevated design aesthetic to communicate value.
MARKETING COPY
We wrote the copy with the intention of making big, declarative statements that played off the name and the UN theme while owning the position of “the next big thing in hair brushes”.
THE BIG DEAL
Initially, as just another product in a broader beauty brand it underperformed.
In late-2022 the client finally leaned fully into our “Unbrush” positioning and branded efforts and it broke it out as something truly special and different.
In 2023 the client hit the TikTok scene with it and it blew up, becoming a massive overnight success story.
One year later and they had already achieved over 1M units sold and expanded into retail, including a partnership with Target.
