Griff-n-Grizzly makes “better-for-you” granola-based snacks, with a major emphasis on enjoyability and quality.

It’s not granola. It’s not a “healthy” brand. It’s something different, which is both great and challenging from a positioning standpoint.

Is the audience people who are health-conscious? Parents with picky-eater kids? On-the-go millennials looking for a healthier quick alternative? Active lifestylers wanting to refuel with something that’s good for them AND actually tastes good?

The answer to everyone of those is yes.

THE BRAND

Inspired by the name of the founders’ first born, the product was originally referred to as Griffanola in its conceptual days. When planning the initial CPG brand launch we came up with a new name that kept true to this homage while telling a clearer story that referenced healthy, natural ingredients and an outdoorsy flair.

Design direction is clean but not sterile, with pops of color to indicate flavor varieties.

Our mascots give us a hint of personality, and we chose to adopt a cute bear cub as additional appeal that we plan to leverage more in future marketing.

We fully designed and implemented Griff-n-Grizzly’s e-commerce website using Shopify. Features include discount codes, bundles, subscriptions, and case discounts.
